NOTE: Check out my friend Laurie’s new cooking blog, Savor With Flavor! (
Hey Guys! So Saturday I hung out with my friends Kathy & Jenna, and then we invited Jenna’s BF Cameron along with John and Tom to hangout and swim. Let’s just say my plan to be more outgoing and talk more did not go well at all! I’m not sure why I have this problem talking in front of them, it only seems to happen when i’m around a guy i like!
I know why im shy though. I actually used to be really outgoing until something happened in 5th grade which kinda messed up my self-esteem/confidence i guess you could say. I’m not gonna tell the story here now, if you guys want to hear the story i might blog about it in my next blog.
I’m just hoping i get another chance. But i have a feeling those “chances” are going to run out soon, I’ve had so many over the past 5 months since I met him.
I would like to know what you guys do to be confident/outgoing, like some tips for me so maybe i can act more confident and talk more the next time we hang out because i….just need some tips! Haha I might put them in the next blog along with a plug to your site if you have one just in case anyone else needs some tips as well! (:
Anyways, it was pretty fun, we swam some and I played a game with Tom and John with the basketball hoop Jenna has by her pool. I’m not sure who, either Tom or John came up with this game. If i made a basket, i got a point, if they got the rebound, they got the point. And apparently if i rolled my eyes, i lost a point (apparently i do it alot, i don’t even realize it!) I ended winning both times which was pretty cool seen as i feel i have no real basketball skills whatsoever. I can shoot, thats about it.
We also watched Grandma’s Boy, which was… okay. I didn’t think it was the greatest movie, although it had some funny parts!
What are your tips for having more confidence/being more outgoing?
